About Adhithi Baskar

Adhithi Baskar is a talented pianist and versatile artist with a passion for Western Classical, Jazz, and Carnatic music. Despite challenges, she has remained committed to her musical journey, showcasing her skills across multiple genres. Having dedicated over a decade to Western Classical piano, Adhithi is currently pursuing her music studies at Humber College, further expanding her musical knowledge. She seeks inspiration and guidance from renowned Jazz pianist Amanda Tosoff. Adhithi receives training in Carnatic music from her mother, Radhika Baskar.  Adhithi’s diverse musical background enables her to perform seamlessly in fusion concerts. Her dazzling performances include ‘Amalgam’, a fusion music concert and ‘Harmony In Motion’, a Jazz Odyssey. Adhithi has also gained recognition for her recorded work, and she has been featured on popular streaming platforms like Spotify. In 2024, Adhithi received the prestigious MARTYS award for Emerging Artist (Music Instrumental) in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the arts.

Accomplishments

In 2024, Adhithi Baskar was honored with the prestigious MARTY Award for Emerging Artist – Music (Instrumental), presented by the Mississauga Arts Council. This award celebrates her outstanding contribution to the arts and her growing impact as a creative force in the music community.
